Video game publisher Valve has announced that downloadable content for its hit game Left 4 Dead 2 will soon be available. Entitled The Passing, the episode will be set in a small rural town in Georgia where the cast of the game will meet the survivors of the original Left 4 Dead. Together the group of eight will team up against the undead. Gamers can also expect to see a new type of zombie, along with a new melee and firearm to kill them with. Left 4 Dead 2’s strong start could also be attributed to an aggressive marketing blitz from Valve, who spent $25 million to promote the title.
